Pet Peeves about KJs
Most KJs do a great job of juggling a lot of singers, but there are some that drive singers crazy. Here's a few pet peeves singers have about KJs:
- KJs who lose track of the rotation and then get upset when you ask why someone has sung twice before you.
- KJs who sing a lot of songs when there's a long rotation.
- KJs who play non-karaoke (dance) music when there's a waiting list of singers.
- KJs who sing along with your song without asking.
- KJs who lower your microphone level or skip you in the rotation if you sing better than they do.
- KJs who say the same thing after every singer: "Let's give it up for...," or "How about a big hand for..."
